Standing for Marriage Restoration?

I truly believe that standing is actually a battle cry. You are standing for the salvation of your wives, the future of your children, and your children's children. That is not something that I can in good conscience take lightly anymore. I personally have been way too passive about my prayer life and my dedication to the word of God. We are called to fight for our spouses and God has given us the tools to do so! He has given us the Armor of God to protect ourselves and our spouses and families (Ephesians 6:10-20) He has given us the Authority To tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19) He has give us the power to trample the lion and the adder (Psalm 91:3) He has given us the command to pray without ceasing! (1 Thessalonians 5:17) And as HIs disciples in Christ, we are told to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons. (Matthew 10:8) All of these things can be taken literally or figuratively, but the truth is that we must focus on the task at hand. We must sacrifice ourselves to the Lord. We must dedicate our lives to the Lord. We must lift up our spouses, children and families to the Lord. We can no longer sit on the fence waiting for signs to manifest themselves to give us a moment of hope only to lose it a moment later. We must pray to the God above and cry out for his help. We must pray for wisdom, we must ask for grace and mercy, we must repent of every hidden sin, we must be truly honest with the Lord. He knows all and wants us to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The only way for our wives to come home, is for our relationships with Jesus Christ to be rock solid. As we draw closer to Him, He will draw nearer to us and our wives will draw closer to the love of Christ shining through us. As we reflect Jesus in all we do, our wives will want what we have been given and will be drawn to US!
